Default Is plasma suitable for my viewing habbit?
Hello. I own a 40" Sony LCD TV (XBR1) and want to upgrade to a plasma TV, probably the Panasonic TC-P54V10, but here's the problem: I only watch DVD/blu-ray movies on my TV, over 90% of which contains black bars. Would my viewing habbit contribute to uneven phosphor wear and eventually cause noticeable brightness difference when watching full screen movies? I know plasmas lose brightness as they get closer to their half life (which I think is 100K hrs for panasonic). I'm not worried about the brightness difference I might get after 90K hrs, but what about after 20 or 30K hours? Considering my viewing habbit, would it be suitable to get a plasma display?
