Hisense or TCL is out of the question. I just don't have trust in those brands as of yet.

But you're right, very hard to find the "perfect" TV. After taking a look at PC Richards today, my decision has changed to the Samsung QN90B. It crushes the Sony XR55X90K in every way possible. It had the most amazing picture quality I've ever seen. Beautiful contrast and colors and very deep, inky blacks. I have to... just have to save up and get that. There's no ifs, ands, or buts.
