With that said, the original Blu-ray does NOT sell a lot more than the 4K. Bought the older remaster BD about a year or two ago for around the $20 price that it would've gone for the B&N sale. You can still find it at the $20 price. To find a new, unsealed copy will obviously cost you much more to the point it's not worth cashing in for. I was actually a bit disappointed with the older remaster. Colors didn't look all that amazing and grain and clarity was not so pleasing to me. Planning to buy the 4K UHD next sale to see how it stands up against the older remaster. I may be in that minority who may end up preferring the 4K restoration over the HD remaster, Ritrovata grading and all. |
