Default Video Static over HDMI - How To Fix?

Ok, so i have a 50 inch samsung plasma (model HP-S5053) and whenever i have it on there is static in the picture over HDMI, its really annoying. I can't seem to find a reason for it or a solution to the problem (only one thing comes up on google with no solution). I was using a cheap 10 foot HDMI form fry's and tried replacing that with a $40 monster HDMI, it didn't help. I do all of my components plugged into a power filtering power surge protectors. I also tried switching Direct Tv boxes, didn't help (other tv's don't have this problem). Tried plugging the power bar into a different plug socket on a different breaker, no help. The next thing i was going to try was upgrading the power bar to the Monster HTS 1000 with stage two cleaning. ( i currently have a power sentry for home theaters). Do you think this would help solve the problem? Or do you think its my TV. All suggestions are welcome. This problem is driving me crazy because is one of the few electronic problems i can't figure out!

Thanks for any help
