Default Speakers positioning

Dear all,

finally i am going to install my gears in my living room, it is a rectangular shaped 5.5m X 8.5m X 2.9m room . i have 1 large door (1.7m wide) centered in the rear wall (the 5.5 m one) and that's it. the speakers are 2X RTI A9, 1 CSI A6, 2 FXI A4 for side and 2 RTI A1 for rear and a DSW pro 600 Sub. the TV stand will be around 3m wide once i build it and will be placed on the other 5.5m wall behind the seat will be a dinning table and some other low height stuff, my main seating position will be around 4 m away from the TV (52A650). the AVR is RX-V665, i'll be building external amplifiers later on to power the speakers but that will be a second project.

anyway i am looking for some recommendations on the speakers position both height and distances within the room, and what do u recommend for the side speakers, bipole or dipole?,behind or side of the seating position, i am also planning to place the sub in the rear and not the front (i can have it then placed around 1 foot away from the corner) i'll be building a 1 foot riser for it as well so it's better to place it the back, my wife almost killed me for the speakers size, the last thing i want is to have such a big sub at the front. i don't beleive that this will harm the BASS (am i right?)

any recommendations? i know the basics about speakers positioning and i am planning to have the DTS 7.1 standard layout implemented. the surrounds and side channels will be wall mounted i will not be using stands (1 yr old daughter with a second baby coming in another 6 months).

as for neighbors i am only sharing the floor, above me is the roof and i am not sharing any side walls with side neighbors.

thanks in advance about all your feedback,
