Default Speaker position?
So the girlfriend and I have been contemplating on rearranging the furniture for a little while. Today after class we decided to tackle it and it's went decent. We have a very odd shaped living room and we decided to put the couch and TV in opposite corners. Obviously this is not an optimal position for the speakers. We have room behind the couch for the surrounds but not to the sides, so my question is...if the two Sony towers are behind the couch should I place them forward towards the couch or face them towards each other?

I haven't had time to experiment yet but with them facing the couch, I thought they sounded pretty good. I also don't have access to pictures at the moment or I would show you the area.
