This is a polarized version. They went back and (somehow) used computers to reanimate the scenes but instead of rendering them, used that information to make the existing footage 3D.
I think it looks great, but this is not the first year this has been out. In fact I've seen this last year myself, and maybe the year before as well (can't remember). It may become a "tradition", in which case I say, BRING IT ON! I just wish they could release this to BD already! That and I want to see a BD player that supports 3D like this. |
