Big mistake by WB?

Adrian Askarieh must have been playing some Assassin's Creed recently, because he just sold a treatment to Warner Bros that turns Leonardo da Vinci - painter, inventor, literal Renaissance Man - into an action hero.

Not just any action hero, but a member of a secret society that gets involved in hidden fortresses that require secret codes. A painter that deals with Biblical demons and fallen angels in a supernatural adventure. It's called "Leonardo da Vinci and the Soldiers of Forever" and Roy Lee and Doug Davison from Vertigo (who worked with WB on The Departed) love it so much, they are on board.

So is Warner Bros.

I imagine it will be quite a sight, and if 3D is still around, I'd imagine this would be a summer movie. And if it does well, why stop there?
