Flicker on New plasma with PS3 home screen?

I just last week picked up a Samsung PN58B550 58" Plasma. I noticed when I'm on my PS3 home screen that it sort of has a flicker that catches. It seems like things are very sharp and smooth looking then all of a sudden I see a bunch of noise and it "catches" itself and goes back to being smooth without the little digital dots I see then it repeats this. I don't know if this is because this is a a game console or what. Seems to do the same thing on my Xbox 360 home screen. Kind of bothering me. I'm not sure if this is something wrong with the TV or just something due to my settings and the way a game console displays or what Not sure if anyone had any input regarding this issue or if this is something I need to get checked out.
