If I sit down to watch a movie or TV episodes, I commit until the completion of said material. Once credits roll, then I will stop and eject the disc. For me, personally, the movie experience is ruined by taking a break in the middle. It is not conducive in maintaining your emotional/spiritual investment that keep me enthralled with the plot. TV episodes on the other hand are designed to complete at a point that is both satisfying and anticipation building. I can live with stopping after an episode in the middle of the disc as the very design of its production lends itself nicely to entertainment model.
