Bluray vs broadbast

Is it possible to deinterlace 1080i to possibly match to 1080p?.

If an Hd broadcast is 1080i30, does that mean there are 30 fields a second, so 15 frames per second?.So normal deinterlacing would cause fast scene blurriness and 1/2 the frame rate?.

It seems many deinterlace to 1080p, but I don't see how thats possible when the frame rate is lost, fast scene blurriness should be a secondary concern.

it its,wouldn't having 1080i60 remove the point of having less bandwidth?.
