Default 1080P/HDMI does not fill up the screen!

I just updated my copy of POWER DVD ultra... as soon as i updated, i played spiderman 3, which wouldn't play before, and the image does not fill the screen, kind of like how non-anamorphic DVD's don't fill up a widescreen TV. This only happens with the 1080P/HDMI connection. If i switch to analog/VGA, the screen fits pefectly. Same thing when i do 1360 by 768 resolution on HDMI... I just posted a question on cyberlink's site... any suggestions on how to fix this, or am I the only one with this problem?

ATI HD2400
PowerDVD ultra
4 GB of RAM
XP Home
Samsung 50" 1080P DLP
Sony BWU-100A
AMD X2 4800
