They're complaining for a reason. Have you actually watched content on this TV before? These TV's deserve all the attention it gets. And all the arguments it draws also .
It's going to continue this way until it's surpassed. I can say the same about people like you complaining about it. Every damn forum.
Save those dimes.

Have you ever drove a Ferrari?? Yet I doubt you could deny its one of, if not the best car manufacturers of permance vehicles in the world. Point Im making is that people want what they can't have and if every plasma forum they've ever been on and reputable review hails the Kuro as the best plasma, why would people second guess it? Another example would be the countless threads about "break-Ins" and "Image Retention" that flood plasma forums from people who've never owned one. If I used your logic, "they've never owned a plasma so why should they care". Well they care because those who've owned them before have informed them of said possible issues. For the last time the point I'm making is that the Pioneer Kuro was not a practical/cost effective television for the general consumer and is the reason why nothing has matched is performance thus far. People just aren't willing to pay for quality. Many people still have a hard enough time justifying Blu-ray vs. DVD for god's sake.
P.s. I never doubted the Kuro deserved all the attention it gets.
