Yes, I have a Samsung BDP2500 that I've had for a couple years and it's been rock solid, plays everything I've ever thrown at it and with Reon processor the PQ is excellent. But I'll never buy another Samsung after reading all the problems other folks have had with different Samsung models. And I ended up with the 2500 almost by accident as Best Buy had it on display when I took my Samsung BDP1400 back for return and I was impressed with the DVD upconversion. The 1400 was aboslutely the worst piece of shite I ever had and I returned it after only 2 days. It had this bug that if you paused a BD for more than a few minutes when you hit Play instead of resuming playback it loaded the disc all over again as if you'd just inserted the disc. And with slow loading java discs or $%#@! Lionsgate BDs that make you skip a half dozen trailers one by one, that's adding insult to injury.
![]() And even though my 2500 has been perfect, I read on AVSforum that alot of folks have a problem with Netflix streaming, that the player keeps dropping the Netflix device setting and they have to enable it all over again. But I don't even have my player connected to the internet. Last edited by The Duke; 04-17-2011 at 03:12 PM. |
