the point is that it's a story based on how life was back then...and if they didn't add in fantasy aspects...then it wouldn't be nearly as entertaining..

and if you don't get that....."oh boy"....

Okay, you clearly missed my point, then: 99.9% of this movie is a giant fantasy yarn so if they were trying to at least to a degree portray early man's day-to-day survival with any amount of accuracy (or at least as accurate as they could be since we obviously can only ever know so much about those days), they failed spectacularly.


Not every movie has fantastical/impossible elements in it as many are very much based in the subjective reality we all inhabit (I would think that'd be obvious but apparently not to some here which is... well, scary).
