My wife bought her first BD, "Becoming Jane" a few weeks ago. She's looking forward to "Enchanted", "27 Dresses", and "PS I Love You".

I agree that women make up a minority of BD watchers/buyers, but that segment of the market can't be completely ignored. Same with kids movies.
