You guys are crazy. Scream 2 absolutely crushes part 4.
If they ever do make a Scream 5, let's hope they don't invite Wes Craven back, or any other of the old has-beens for that matter. I guess they could bring back Courtney Cox, but just to kill her off. ![]() |

You'd absolutely have to bring back the three alum, even if they're barely in it or are killed off.

Just wrapped up 3 tonight and will watch 4 once it drops on Netflix next month. I have to say I liked this one the best, despite Cox's horrible bang or wig or whatever the hell that was. I'm thinking this was about the time she started getting a few nips and tucks. The way the wrapped things up I was a little surprised there was another movie. Not sure if they really need a 5th, other than the fans wanting it. I'll have a better idea once I see 4.

The Scream 4 hate on this board disgusts me. It's one of the most quoteable, entertaining horror films in awhile. I know every line.

![]() Also, what other horror movies have Campbell, Cox, and Arquette been in, besides the Scream series? The Craft....Oh yeah, that's it. And the Scream films were not great because of those three, that's for sure. Yeah, I like them in the original trilogy, but enough is enough. Edit: Just to be clear--by "old has-beens", I meant Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and David Arquette. Last edited by Seymour; 03-27-2013 at 12:39 PM. |

1 was great, 2 was even better, 3 was ****ing abysmal and 4 was really quite good. A couple of missteps prevent it from being up there with 1 and 2 but it was damn good fun and a much better end to the series than 3.
Scream 5 interests me, though only if Kevin Williamson is writing, but I have to wonder where the series would go next. Slasher films, sequels, trilogies, reboots and then... what? |

2 1 4 3 has the weakest opening, and second weakest finale. The middle is why it's probably the most entertaining movie of the series for me. Just so entertaining with all the chemistry and energy of the characters running around, trying to solve the mystery. Great, hilarious dialogue. Last edited by Yeti4928; 03-28-2013 at 01:19 AM. |

1 2 3 To me none of them are weak and I enjoy them all, one of them has to be on the bottom though. Still holding out hope for 2 more to give us 2 trilogies in this film franchise. Quote:
