Which device is doing all the audio processing? You might want to bitstream the audio from the blu-ray player to see if it makes any difference. If you have it set to bitstream, try setting to output PCM and see if that fixes it.

Most of the time, its the processing your DVD player, Receiver or TV are doing. Which is why most receivers have a built in A/V sync option. Very handy.
