Lip Sync problems

I know that I saw the answer to this somewhere in the forums but I can't seem to find the answer doing a search, so please bear with me. Does anyone know how to resolve the audio/video sync problems with the Onkyo 875? I have a tivo output via HDMI to the 875 and output to my TV from the 875 via HDMI. There is a 2 - 3 second delay between the audio and the lip sync in the video portion of the signal.

Have you run the Audessey setup? That usually takes care of the issue. If you have and it's still doing it, my 605 has a section to adjust the delay in the setup. I can only assume your 875 has the same feature. Access the setup via the remote and check in the speaker section.

Thanks! I have not run the Audessey setup yet. I will give it a try. I was waiting to get my surrounds mounted before I ran it.

From what source do you see the delay? BD or cable/satellite? I've only seen it with my cable once in a while where I lose synch, and when I do, I simply reboot the cable DVR and power off and on the receiver to put them back into synch.

I did do the Audyssey set up.

Yeah Audyssey setup can't fix everything- that's a source issue. But on Blu-ray/DVD playback I'd assume it'll probably knock it out.

I am only getting the delay from my TiVo cable DVR. BR/DVD has no problems. I will reboot the TiVo and the receiver and see if that helps.
