i was talking about him saying he was waiting for it to decode true-hd. right now it can decode tru-hd and send it pcm it just can not send it bitstream. from what i have been reading bit-streaming of the hd codecs can't be done because of the hdmi chip. by all means please tell me i'm wrong, i would love for it to. however i wouldn't ditch the ps3 for a standalone as i don't have a problem with player format conversion lol i don't like calling it decoding as it is still in the digital world
