I saw it in a store, and since I'm a big Scorsese fan, I immediately picked it up. Still haven't looked at it yet (which I could say about half the Blu's I own), but I guess that's the closest I've gotten to a blind buy. I'm very picky when it comes to getting DVD's. Very rarely do I but something I've never seen before. If I can rent it, then I'd rent it first.
