PS3 volume control

Iv noticed alot of people saying the ps3 sounds lower when comparing the dts 1.5mb core to DTS-MA, also that on some bitreamed movie's(DD,DTS etc) the recevier is louder. you have have to make sure the ps3's volume is on+2. how do you do that? when waching a movie do this:

Triangle

scroll over to volume control

and you should see the volume that goes up to +2, I hope this help.
