So I rented a BluRay of MAD MEN w/ DTS-HD Audio to find my surround system can't decode it.
I have a 10 year old Kenwood KC-Z1 that can input optical audio and decode Dolby Digital AC-3 / 5.1 at best. The Sony 300 will output DTS-HD DD-Plus and so on from the discret 5.1 RCA outs. If I connect these directly to the amp how do I control the volume of these 5.1 outs? The remote seems to default to the TV (SONY XBR4) volume. Any ideas?? Thanks, Andrew |

Thanks for the reply,
The 300 will decode Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-HD. via the 5.1 outputs & HDMI. I need to control the 5.1 outs. -A |
