That looks great and I think it matches the previous film slip.

I'll admit, I was somewhat skeptical Target would forget about the Digipak release of the original, and would only have a normal amaray case with maybe an exclusive cover. Glad to see that Target is on the ball with this, and hopefully for Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2 also.

I'm making a new year's resolution not to pay any new release prices, and instead wait until BF 2014. However, since this is my most anticipated blu-ray release of 2014 so far, I'm not hesitating for one second on this Digipak.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of the Target exclusive. It's nice, but I'd prefer if it more closely resembled the Target exclusive for the first film's release, the one that just had the Mockingjay as the cover.

If no store ends up getting an exclusive like that, I'll be a bit disappointed(though I remember mixing Best Buy and Target exclusives for Harry Potter 7.1/7.2 since I wanted both 4 disc set versions) but will still most likely pick up the Target version.

Let's hope they keep the IMAX scenes open-matte. I really liked how they handled them for the scene since it was one long uninterrupted IMAX sequence instead of various IMAX shots throughout.

Sigh. I would love to get this (Target exclusive is bangin') but I'm going to wait for the Hunger Games series to be over and buy the eventual box set (a la Twilight Forever box set).

It's coming. We all know it is. Just hunker down and save my money so when that eventual set does get released in about 3 years, I won't be caught without the cash to get it.

Going to be a terribly long wait for it.

The one on the left looks like a slipcover for the digibook but what is the one in the middle? ANOTHER taller slipcover?

Looks so good though! I'm beyond pumped to see the feature length documentary (the one for the first film was outstanding) and the deleted scenes! Wish we could've gotten the ones for the first film.

Did anyone notice it also apparently comes with a fabric poster?

Shopkick. I can't stress enough how simple it is to use the app and accumulate enough kicks (points) which will eventually land you a $25 SK certificate for Target. Matter of fact, you only need 6,250 kicks to receive that amount, and you can do that easily by just scanning and walking into stores. By all means, if you want to wait it out until 2015 or 2016 for the complete set, go ahead, but you can still pick up these exclusives without having to pay a dime for them.

This goes through all the different international versions so far. The UK special deluxe edition has a stunning case!

If you want free blu-rays, start using this app! Seriously, it's free money basically.

Lol. No no, it's the slipcover coming off of the book, to let you know it is a clear slipcover. Those 3 pictures are just of one release.

That artwork is right up my alley. Day One for sure!

Okay, so I just now got into the Hunger Games series (that rock I was living under was really hard to move) and I'd like to pick up the Target exclusive. I know Amazon has it for $29.99, but I'm a little worried that the exclusive content is sticker only. What are the odds of a "brand new fulfilled by Amazon" copy having the Target sticker?

Nevermind, I saw an unboxing for the Target exclusive. It shows it comes with a third disc though. So...what's this about a Target Ticket?

It's Target's digital retailer, like Wal-Mart's VUDU or Best Buy's CinemaNow.

I would love to see it bumped to February like Skyfall!

So, I need an account to access it? Is it free? And if that's the case what role does the disc play?

You will need to make an account, and it is free. You should be able to link it with your existing Target account, if you have one. As for your last question, not sure yet.
