Default What 30 inch monitor is best for Blu-ray
I have watched blu-ray movies on 1080P TVs and they all have black stripes top and bottom because(i think) the movie width is greater than 1600. So the image resolution is downscaled. (or perhaps the movie is recorded on the
DVD with the black stripes...)
A 30 inch monitor should be wide enough (2560 pixels) to prevent this downscaling. Will any monitor allow me to watch blu-ray at something like 2560 * 1080 resolution.
