PS3 with HANNS 19 inch monitor

Hi!

New to this section. Have a few question:
I have the following:
Japanese PS3 - with HDMI, and Component/Somposite connection
HANNS 19 inch monitor - non-HDCP compliant (that is why I hate HDCP), VGA and DVI-D connection.

Now, I understand that the ps3 requires HDCP-compliant display before it can display its content via HDMI port. I considered DVI-D to HDMI cable, but remembering this HDCP thing, I trashed this idea.

So, I bought component cable, and another cable converting component to VGA. worked, but everything is green. I looked up in wiki and found sync on green problem (but hi-def looked great - I tried BD and PS games).

Now, I consider using VGA box. I'd like to ask you, will this work?

ANY other SUGGESTION?
