Does it matter if my T.V is only 720p?

because I have a HUGE room, and will likely sit pretty far away.... and really I am not too concerned with picture quality, I'd rather spend the extra money on saving up for Mono-tubes, or more media, etc.

Plus $750 they're practically giving it away!!! I'll probably budget $4-$500 for a screen (so I can keep it and re-use it when I get a better projector someday.)

WOW! Makes me wish my theater room was actually built instead of just some rough sketches on paper. Well, by the time I do get it built, 1080p projectors will probably be down to very reasonable price levels. Until then, I'll just enyoy what I have.

Any reason why you would spend so much on a screen when you can DIY one at a fraction of the cost? I've been doing a bit of reasearch into all of this projection stuff (yeah, puttin' the cart before the horse without even a room yet) and decided I'd go the DIY route when ready. Just curious.
