The last cut scene(s) are an hour and a half long, that is to long for me but I thought most of the cut scenes even the breifings were great.

When you finish the game on a work night, and want to get to bed, an hour and a half is to damn long.

There really should have been a sneaking scene to get to the huge cutscene at the end of Act 3. I knew there would be long one there, it is the dramatic middle of the story (thank you B.A. in English for teaching me that) after all. What I did not expect was there to be so little gameplay in Act 3.

earlier today i was playing sneaking on U.U. i wasnt snake. i was on one of the roofs, had a mag by the ladder and one just laying around. well snake spawned up there and ran right into the mag. it was hilarious, i then grabbed him and slit his throat it happened again on either M.M. or G.G. dont remember which one but same outcome.

Can the mantis dolls be used on her again? Like on your second run through the game?

And I heard theres a sniper that also traqulizes?

Usually flying back from an explosion into an awkward body position. I really like how they've handled that.

The Mosin Nagant is a tranq sniper rifle, same rifle The End uses in MGS3.

Obvious maybe, but if you hadn't noticed, tranquilising weapons show up blue instead of red.

I'm pretty sure you can use the mantis dolls again, the gameplay shouldn't change the 2nd time around.

And yeah there is, it's called the 'Mosin-Nagant'

One thing they could have done was like the did with Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is once you unlocked the cinematics you could go back and view them again in from the main (top) menu. Or did they do that and I am just missing something. The only other thing I was thinking they could have done to make the audio better was to use an advanced codec (no pun intended), such as Dolby True HD, or better yet DTS MA (now that is supported by the PS3 and all)

Oh I am revising my score it still gets a better than perfect score a 5/4 to reflect the cinematic nature of the game ( over 8hrs of cinematics all jaw dropping I might add). As the story was unraveling and I finished it, I felt like I did when I watched Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, for the first time, I reflected on the series as a whole from Metal Gear Solid onward.

Kudos to Mr. Hideo Kojima and his team.

yeah you get to use them again both of them. They are hard to use though at least for me lol

Anyone else having difficulties with not killing anyone on Act 2? I'm on my second time through and just finished Act 2 and somehow I have 6 kills yet I've only used non-leathal methods.


Though I'm just going to roll with it and try not to kill anyone else. Though anyone else have a similar experience or am I a killing machine and just not know it?


EDIT: Also it took me 3 hours on Big Boss Hard mode so far. How are all of you doing this so quickly?! I'm suppose to now beat the game with only

[Show spoiler]ok well i killed her by shooting etc...they her tanticles came off.....she started acting weird, laughing saying she crying..then she begain to hug me...i shoot her ,,then she her body got hard......so is that the non lethal way ,cause i only got one mask....what is the lethal way?

and what is the best gun i can use for under 20000 points...

The best gun to use? Depends on what you are going for depending on the situation. Also, the non-leathal way of killing is using tranq gun or stun grenades, basically any BLUE weapon. 20000 is a very small price tag, you'll see as you continue into the game as that will mean very little.

You need to do [SPOILER ] without the space at the end. I only used the 'space' as a demonstration.
