So I'm studying Film and Business, and for the practical film module the tutor said: If you don't have a script soon, I'm going to be angry. So please help me with script ideas. So a couple of rules:
1) It has to be a fish-out-of-water premise, as in someone/thing in a place you don't expect them (the tutor is not too tough on sticking to the brief, so feel free to go off the wall about it). 2) It has to be filmed with a £300-£400 budget 3) Not too complicated. The simpler the better. 4) 8-10 minutes long. I was coming up with ideas like: --A Prisoner escapes from prison to find his escape boat hasn't turned up. --A police officer goes insane after spending ten years on a case --A bully is lured/tricked into the woods and is shot by the victims but all were rejected as they were to complicated or character driven (bullsh*t I know). He liked the first one, but the idea is too short and would only last a minute. Any help is much appreciated. My group has got very little. EDIT: I also thought it would be a great talking point as well for short film ideas. Last edited by TomN245; 10-22-2014 at 12:29 AM. |
