Umm, 802.11n is backwards compatible with b/g standards. Plus, it extends range and increases throughput over distance. That's why I suggested it.

I use it. My router is over 50ft. away from my PS3.

BTW, you buy 802.11n routers from electronics stores like Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, CompUSA, Radio Shack, Wal-mart, etc.
