Question Wireless connection ?

So i have my wireless router set up in my basement and 3 floors up is my room where I use my PS3 but the connection signal never goes over 50% which is still not too shabby. My question is, what do I need to buy in order to get better range?

Default Try this first

The first thing you should try is repossitioning the antena. In the case of being on different floors the antena should be possitioned so that the sides of the posts face each other not necessarily pointing straight up and down.

Wireless is designed to have a "poor" range. On your wireless router you maybe able to change the power output on your wireless router. Beware this may make it worse (more power but more distortion) and provide access to your neighbours unless you have WAP enabled with a "strong" key. The repositioning of the aerial may work or try getting another Aeriel. Try putting the Aeriel on it's side as they are normally designed for a horizontal pattern and you are using it vertically.
