Should only be BBV Canada. This is after all the Canadian forum. Here Golden Compass is distributed by Alliance Atlantis, and I find that their DVDs go on the cheap quickly.

Thanks for the post Odin! I already spoke with the manager at my BBV and he told me he'd take care of me. I've bought 3 previously viewed titles from them and of course, Pan's Labyrinth at $9.99 this past week and I rent quite a view movies, so I'm a good customer.

I've never seen the Golden Compass, but at $9.99 I'll still make the blind-buy.

if anyone doesnt want to wait/miss the chance to get it at 9.99 its only 14.99 as is right now, im thinking of picking it up, they only have 2 at my store right now. did anyone see this movie? its gonna be a blind buy for me.

It's pretty good, definetly good for $9.99. Stores get replenishment stock for the sale.

Please, if you start a new thread like this, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE specify what media type is on sale, i.e., DVD or Blu-ray.

Just reading this thread leads me to think you are talking about the DVD release but I would have no way of knowing otherwise because you don't specifically state what you are attempting to promote.

im assuming that since its a blu-ray forum, it would be a blu-ray, ur an expert member, you should know better....u know the crap u get on here if u try and promote dvd sales....

For those of us who search through the HOT DEALS-CANADA section, we know what odin24 means when he posts. It would have been just as easy to ASK what format he was referring to, as opposed to spewing diatribe!
