Question about Indiana Jones

Ok, correct me if Im wrong guys, but Im gonna go back to the VHS vs Betamax war on this. I remember when I was a kid, I went to a video rental store and I saw Star Wars on VHS. At the time, my family only had betamax, and I begged and plead with my parents to get the movies cuz the name just sounded cool We asked if it was on betamax but we were told no, just the VHS. I cant remember what year this was nor what store (I was born in 1978 and Im talking about the Episode IV, so it was a few yrs after the theatre release), but I remember I was really disappointed. Seems like once a 'proven' winner has been chosen, Lucas then will sink his money into it. Especially since all the extra features that we suppose to have by now still hasnt happen yet(PiP for example) and BD+ just finalized, hes gonna sit on the sidelines for a while till HD DVD is on its dying breathe before he will look into release his films on the new format
