Many have the season 12 set now and are in the mood for more Tom Baker. I don't want to switch around back-and-forth between different doctors. I want to start with a Doctor and stick with his run until finished, not jump from series to series with different companions. And it's a bad idea for new fans who may be coming to this from the new series, wanting to check out the classics. They will feel lost being shuffled around randomly from doctor to doctor. These old shows do pick up new fans. This is a confusing way to introduce new fans to the classics.
