Didn't see if the supplements were in HD (review only said that the trailers are HD) but that would be disappointing if they weren't. I will wait on this.

Over in the UK you can buy the set for £29 (about $42)...you don't get the Animatrix, just the 3 movies, but that is a great deal. They are region free as well. It is a good option if you have an 'in' for the UK market and just want the movies.

First movie is worth $30, second and third $20, so that's $70. I'd say it's overpriced, but I got it anyways. If I hear they're releasing the first movie alone with normally sized artwork and case I'll end up trading the trilogy.

what on earth are they thinking
hell only if it had ALL the Stars Autographs on it! maybe.

Saw it on amazon a few hours ago for 62.99.

But the used price seems to change fast.
One time I had another blu-ray film in my cart and around 15 mins later
when I when to buy it already had went UP in Price! so I canceled it.

I'm not too fond of the last two Matrix movies...I guess I wait for the single release of the first one.

I picked this up the week it came out for $74.00 and I have no regrets. These movies look amazing, the PQ and the AQ is demo worthy especially if you have a nice surround sound system to show it off. Eventually the price will come down so if you don't mind waiting then go ahead and wait for a deal but I had to have this ASAP.

That sounds fair...if you like the sreies.

Some posters on here are forgetting that it is NOT just 3 movies. It also has the Animatrix, which love-it-or-hate-it, makes it a 4th "movie" in the set. At $75 your paying over $18 a movie. That's a little bit more than what I paid on release day (I think I got it for $65), but I would have paid $100 for it, as I am a big fan of the entire series.

Outstandig PQ and AQ....great movies (including the Animatrix in 1080p)...yeah, OP, I would say snag that puppy, again, if you're a fan.

I got the HD DVD version for under $50 bucks a long time ago and its a great transfer so dont pay much more than that, IMO. These are old catalog titles...remember!

Borders is a TERRIBLE place to buy Blus. Their prices are horrible. They charge 39.99 for most films on Blu. That's outlandish.

I don't think the Matrix trilogy is overpriced. You have to keep in mind that the box also includes the Animatrics (which was sold seperately on DVD and isn't included in the UK box, as far as I know) as well as an extra DVD. The number of extras included is stagering and the PQ and AQ are top-notch.

Oh I know, I would never in a million years buy from them, I just think its funny that they try to get people to buy for them at those prices.

^ People must buy them from there. Just not the deal-searchin' die-hards that post here. I've only bought on DVD from them, and that was because they had a Borders exclusive. I buy CDs from them generally for the same reason or to use a Borders Rewards coupon for a CD I need right away.
