Frankenstein 1970 (1958) Coming from Warner Archive

When I think of some of the outstanding Karloff films under Warner Brother's control I
have to wonder why they chose the least of them. Frankenstein 1970 is pathetic.
Sub-par. Less than a Monogram. It doesn't even have the schlock value of an Ed Wood
although it's just as bad. I don't enjoy this film. It's a "point-the-camera-and-shoot"
instead of a dramatic mise en scène. There's not much story here, and what little
there is kindergarten-obvious and stretched out way too long.

Karloff created some memorable characters and faces in some good films at WB. Where's

1936 The Walking Dead
1937 West of Shanghai
1938 The Invisible Menace
1939 Devil's Island

Why would they put Frankenstein 1970 ahead of better films?
