Going through my collection for an answer, it is very apparent that no children live in this house. The only one I came up with is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

No kids live here, either, but some of my friend's wives have a much lower tolerance for cinematic violence than I do. I certainly can't show them The Revenant.

It's not just Amazon: Here's where you can get deals this week - CNN
Here's who else having sales this week: Best Buy Black Friday is starting Tuesday for the thriving electronics retailer. Best Buy (BBY) is promising shoppers "dozens of deals straight from the not-yet-released Black Friday ad" over the two days. Purchases will come with a "guarantee," with Best Buy refunding the difference if the item's price drops before the actual Black Friday. This week's event is just a portion of holiday deals because it's releasing more deals later this month. BJ's Wholesale Club The membership warehouse club is kicking off its holiday sales event Tuesday with the "Beyond Amazing Savings Event." Like other retailers, shoppers will see discounts on electronics, small appliances and toys at both its website and in-stores. Black Friday sales will continue until the end of November. BJ's (BJ) is having a phenomenal year despite being smaller than rivals. The chain, which has more than 200 stores, grew sales at stores open for at least one year 24.2% to $3.9 billion during its latest quarter ended August 1 — a faster clip than the growth rates reported by Costco (COST) and Walmart-owned Sam's Club in the same period. Target Target (TGT) is bringing back Deal Days, a two-day event that starts Tuesday. The retailer promises that this year's event will have "nearly 1 million more deals" than last year and will serve as a revamped kick-off to the key holiday shopping season. CEO Brian Cornell said in an earnings call that the inaugural Deal Days event held last year "was outstanding, both in terms of guest response or promotions as well as the ability of our operations to handle the surge in demand." Target's Black Friday deals actually begins in November and will offer "weeklong discounts and digital deals every day." Walmart Walmart (WMT) beat every competitor to the punch, beginning its sales event Sunday. The "Big Save" event lasts until Thursday, with the retailer offering "Black Friday-like savings on thousands of items" including home goods and electronics. The event could boost its newly launched $98-a-year subscription service that offers free shipping on items $35 and over and same-day deliveries on certain items from stores. Walmart recently promised an "all-new Black Friday experience," with details being released soon. |

An interesting little tidbit at Vudu; they have made a key change in how they word things. Formerly, when you looked at one of the titles in your digital collection it would read "You own UHD (or HDX, etc.)"
Now it instead reads "You purchased UHD, etc." This change in wording was no accident. Apparently, their new owner (Fandango) and/or the studios want to make it plain that there is no implied ownership when you make a digital purchase or when you redeem a digital code. This change in wording is shown when you use a computer to browse your digital collection; the phone app still uses the old wording as it presumably has not been updated yet to reflect this change. I read this in the "Vudu to be acquired by Fandango" thread and I confirmed it by looking at my own digital collection via my pc. I did not check with the Vudu app on my TVs. https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...3#post18185743 Last edited by Vilya; 10-13-2020 at 04:43 AM. |

I'm sure all of those titles will be released on Blu-ray soon enough. Two of them already have release dates set for next month.
Quality and real ownership are worth waiting for. |

![]() The term "Good Old Boy" can be seen as either a positive or a negative term. Considering how you have historically referred to those that prefer discs, I suspect that you mean the negative connotation here. ![]() People commenting about their favorite 4K discs is in no way an attempt to "control this thread." You are just as free to comment about which streaming titles impress you even though we all know that you think that everything streamed looks "Fantastic!" ![]() The Revenant on 4K disc trounces the streaming version, period. There have not been "lots of new movies" released anywhere this year and what little has been released have come to disc also. All of the titles that you mentioned will be available on disc in due time. Unlike you, we "Good Old Boy Guys" will get better quality and we will actually own what we buy. Who cares about the terms and conditions anyway?
Well, I do. I don’t have a Facebook account and I do have the Oculus Go. You can’t log onto oculus go without Facebook soon. Quote If you’re an existing user and choose not to merge your accounts, you can continue using your Oculus account for two years. https://www.oculus.com/blog/a-single.../?locale=en_US https://www.theverge.com/2020/8/19/2...rs-competition Here’s one of those “the future” type things where assets including your virtual assets are traded like stock. I’ll hope the Apple Vr is out soon. That would be cool. Last edited by bhampton; 10-13-2020 at 10:31 AM. |

In the meantime, PSVR owners can use the PS5 to play current generation VR games with a special adaptor that will be free of charge. I’m keeping my PS4 anyway though so not a huge deal. |

I haven’t used my PSVR since getting the go. PsVR has cables and Go is completely wireless.
But I should revisit it. My kids love the crazy driving game VR track mania and I have some VR games I like. Last edited by bhampton; 10-13-2020 at 11:02 AM. |
