IIRC, I think when this film was brought up last (I think around the time when the last Hope titles were announced) the KLI said that they would be interested in this if/when they did another Paramount deal.

BFI just canceled their release because of ongoing issues getting proper materials, and this might affect a US release as well.

Confused about this one. It was a Columbia Pictures theatrical release, so it should be with Sony, but was released by Paramount on DVD in 2004 (following the 1997 release from Starz / Anchor Bay.) So is Sony licensing this title out, or did Paramount acquire ownership? Or did Columbia license the film from Palomar Pictures for the theatrical release and it now resides with some other entity?

There's a stub for a Blu-ray release on site, but no details on who might have it licensed, if anyone.

It's been mentioned multiple times that Stepford Wives is owned by Bristol-Myers-Squib who are asking too much for the licenses to the titles they own (including the original Sleuth and Heartbreak Kid).
