IIRC, I think when this film was brought up last (I think around the time when the last Hope titles were announced) the KLI said that they would be interested in this if/when they did another Paramount deal.

As far as stuff that has already been released, I'd like to see new US releases of these;

The Running Man UHD
Don't Look Now UHD
Hard Rain
Jade
The Naked Gun
Chinatown
Footloose
Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Ferris Bueler's Day Off
Black Rain
Death Wish

Like others have said it'd be great to get;

A Simple Plan
The Gift
The Longest Yard (1974)
Big Top Pee Wee

The world could use some hope but Bob Hope will do.

Completely forgot THE SHOOTIST, but I always imagined Paramount releasing this one themselves. Still, they may not, and if Kino was able to pick this up, then this deal will be legendary.

The Court Jester and Fancy Pants on Blu would be most welcome.

Can KLSC reveal all titles in the agreement to avoid keeping us guessing or is there a non disclosure notice until product has a release date?

I’ll add two to the list…

The Desperate Hours (1955) - Bogart and Fredric March

Elephant Walk (1954) - Elizabeth Taylor

At this point, I'm really curious to just find out how many of the titles will be new to Blu-ray. I'm guessing they can't all be new to Blu-ray, but the question remains how many.

BFI just canceled their release because of ongoing issues getting proper materials, and this might affect a US release as well.

Confused about this one. It was a Columbia Pictures theatrical release, so it should be with Sony, but was released by Paramount on DVD in 2004 (following the 1997 release from Starz / Anchor Bay.) So is Sony licensing this title out, or did Paramount acquire ownership? Or did Columbia license the film from Palomar Pictures for the theatrical release and it now resides with some other entity?

There's a stub for a Blu-ray release on site, but no details on who might have it licensed, if anyone.

Closer to the latter. This thread will be my nightmare for several days now.

Yeah, the question still remains new to Blu-ray or new to Kino Lorber. They mentioned they will be releasing UHD titles, so that has me thinking they are releasing titles already on Blu-ray as well.

[Show spoiler]
It's been mentioned multiple times that Stepford Wives is owned by Bristol-Myers-Squib who are asking too much for the licenses to the titles they own (including the original Sleuth and Heartbreak Kid).
