I really like the LG BD390 I bought this past weekend. I tried the PIoneer 320 but it just didn't work out with my display and lots of times I really think synergy is involved. What may work out great for some doesn't for others. We all have different displays, vision, and viewing environments.

Try what you feel you are interested in that also include the features you want, so long as there is a return policy. I cannot say there isn't at least some issues with ANY player though.

performancewise, the Samsung and LG are very quick for blu-ray players. The Pioneer is a LOT slower and the Panasonic is halfway between the others...

which would be better if u narrow it to the pioneer and panny? i meant in PQ and AQ in addition to the loading times.

Pioneer has better PQ and AQ. Panasonic has faster loading times.

Panasonic is more in the middle, LG and Samsung are faster load.

heard something real strange - the UK release of the pioneer 320 doesnt have 7.1 analog out, while apparently the USA one does. Anyone who can confirm this?
