Well one thing that the PS3 has in abundance is computing power. I'll be surprised if it can't decode DTS-HD MA because of this reason.

What sony will do , i'am pretty sure of that, is gradually give us those option. Just like 24fps, once most of the player had it, they gave it to PS3. I'am pretty sure once they'll be a couple of player with DTS HD support, will see it pop for the PS3, same thing for the profiles...
