I saw a March date at another site as well (don't recall where though).

I'm really looking forward to this release also. March is going to be a good month for blu!

One of the best sports movies sense Remember the Titans and Rudy.
Just saw it today in theatres.

Great, inspirational/uplifting movie.

But I doubt I'll buy it.
Good to watch in theaters once, but I don't think it's worth owning.

Personally I wouldn't really classify it as a sports movie and you wouldn't necessarily have to be into sports to like it. Sports was part of the movie but ultimately the movie was about helping a homeless guy out who had no where to go.

As others said it was definitely up lifting and inspirational but in a different way that Remember the Titans, Glory Road, etc. Very good movie IMO. It will be a first day buy and I'll be inviting others over to see this one.

I found this movie to be so overrated. They way they portrayed picking him off the street made him look like a dog, which I just thought was so wrong on so many levels. A lot of the scenes seemed to obviously added in to fit the story. I'm not believing for one minute that recruiting for all those major schools showed up on one day. I also felt the characters themselves were portrayed as too perfect. People have faults. While they addressed the recruiting controversy, they fit it to fit the needs of the audience. From the research I've done on the Tuohy's online, I really honestly don't trust or believe them.

For the record, I'm very much into sports. Played football and rugby in high school.

I agree that this isn't exactly a sports movie. If you're going to say that though, I'd say there were much better films last year in that same kind of category. The Damned United and Invictus were much better films.

The Blind Side is an overrated pos and I'm going to be angry if Sandra Bullock wins an oscar for it because Carey Mulligan trumped her performance in An Education.

I know this is released soon, and comes with both a DVD and digital copy, but my question is:

As a Warner release, the Blu Ray will be region free, but what about the DVD? And will i be able to use the Digital Copy in the Uk?
