I REALLY wanted a Blu-Ray & have just bought a HD-DVD player! Update: Order cancelled

The euro is about 1.30 dollars... The point is, in the UK you've (still) got the pound sterling or GBP... Which is about ~1.5 Euros (£1 = €1.48) or ~2 Dollars (£1 = $1.93)!

And yes we are getting ripped off. We are all here in Europe. We are having later launches, higher prices... And we are sick of it.

The PS3 for example:
Japan: November 11, 2006 @ Y47,600 ($411.02 or €314.18 or £212.78) and 'open price'
USA: November 17, 2006 @ $499 (€381.44 or £258.34) and $599 (€457.87 or 310.11)
Europe: March 2007 @ €499 ($652.79 or £337.96) and €599 ($783.62 or £405.69)
UK: March 2007 @ ??? and £425 ($820.92 or €627.52)

Do they use gold in those consoles? Is that why they launch so late and are so expensive?


These price differences shed a completely different light on the case, now isn't it...
