It appears that Vinnie Jones will be joining the cast in a regular role.

He was spotted in the trailer for NBC's "The Cape" last month (see below), but it was unknown how big Vinnie Jones' character would be.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Jones has now joined the cast as a series regular on the midseason drama. He'll play Scales, a frightening man with a freakish skin condition that gives him the appearance of green and gold scales. The casting marks his first regular TV role.

Jones joins previously cast regulars David Lyons, Keith David and Summer Glau.
