Summer Glau to Star in NBC's "The Cape" - Blu-ray Forum

Glau will play Orwell, a cute and intrepid investigative blogger who fearlessly goes after corrupt cops and costumed bad guys.

Yeah, read about this show months ago, and saw Glau's casting a few days ago. This show just sounds terrible though and the star David Lyons, is from ER............

Incorrect. It would be may star in "The Cape". It's only a pilot, and has yet to be picked up.

Well of course if hasn't been picked up, they haven't even shot it yet, lol. But still this show regardless of Summer's involvement, still horrible. Hope it doesn't get picked up.

I'd like to see how they do it before calling it horrible. It sounds like it will replace heroes.

ABC is making it's own version of Heroes called "No Ordinary Family" with a much better cast that includes Michael Chiklis, Julie Benz, Autumn Reeser and Romany Malco. Now that is casting!

(Two points for who ever can name the movie).

Anyways, yeah, she hasn't necessarily been on a lot of successful shows - "sucessful" meaning, not cancelled.

Yeah she was only on for a short arc. She will be playing Michael's wife on the show, so she's gonna be a lead again, this time in a family with super powers.

Autumn Reeser got her start on the OC as Taylor Towsend, and most recently played a computer hacker on The Human Target. And Romany Malco is from Weeds, he was Conrad as well as the 40 year old Virgin.

I'll "keep an eye" on this show because of Summer Glau. It could very well be horrible, but I'll wait and see. I hope it gets picked up just in case I actually would enjoy it.

More than likely this stands a very good chance of being picked up because frankly, the pilots NBC has in the works this season all sound down right terrible.
