You've all mentioned some great titles that I'd also like to see. Besides the following specific titles I'd also like the Clint Eastwood films, the Hitchcock films, and all the early Bond films.
Ben-Hur (Warner) Journey to the Center of the Earth (Fox) Last of the Mohicans (Fox) Lawrence of Arabia (Sony) My Fair Lady (Warner) North by Northwest (Warner) The Sound of Music (Fox) The Ten Commandments (Paramount) I was briefly scanning through Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur yesterday on my new set-up. I thought about how bad DVD looks now that I've gotten spoiled by seeing really good HD transfers in 1080p. Some of these older films are going to look incredible because of the way they were photographed. It will make them look "new" again to me. I can't wait!
