Default Paramount should do "School of Rock" on blu-ray

I was watching School of Rock on TBS tonight, and I think that it would be a great movie in HD on blu-ray. I really like the film, and it could potentially have a great audio track on it if it was lossless.

I think Paramount owns the rights, so I hope they bring that out. That has to be one of the best Jack Black movies as well. Most of his movies can be annoying, but he really did a great job in this.

Default The legend of the rent was way hardcore.

Not sure if it's because i play guitar and have played in rock bands since high school, but this movie made me bust a gut when it came out. My son and I had a blast.

Paramount should do it, key word. But since when has Paramount ever done anything they should do?

I would like to see this title also.

For some reason I find everything funnier when it's set to music. Case in point, any of the music scenes from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." I just watched School of Rock a couple of weeks ago and it holds up very well to repeat viewings. I'd definitely dip on this again on Blu-ray.

I actually argue that this movie has gotten better for me after repeat viewings. I am already a big Jack Black fan, and he was born to play this role.

I thought Joan Cusak was funny too.

Agreed, there were a few things that I missed the first few times I watched it, when I saw it last night.

I never noticed the lead singer from No Vacancy, the band Jack Black gets fired from, is Adam Pascal who plays Roger in "Rent," until I saw it for the dozenth time a couple weeks ago. Always cool to find something new.
