The reviews are sure making this interesting. I wil lstil lwait a bit, it's over $80 here, it's a bit too much for my blood.

It still seems steep to me too, and I'm a big fan. I'm not sure what my price point would be, but maybe $1.50 an episode, which be about $55 for the set.

You are very welcome. And the package back does carry the "A" indicator so Yes, it appears to be for this region only.

Just for reference, it looks like it comes with a slip case/cover. Is that the case or is it just a big digipack type packaging?

It's a slipcover. Digipacks and slipboxes don't have holes in the back for the UPC. I definitely have to get this now. Is there another $8 coupon for this month for DVD Empire? Because they still have the lowest price if there's a still a coupon.

So far it looks like Best Buy more than likely won't be stocking the title in stores. Since the title willhave a slipcover I want to try to find one in decent condition at a retail store. I may go thru Barnes & Noble but they have a long history of not carryin the title with the slipcover and if it does have one without a plastic covering than more than likely their price sticker will ruin the case.

i see season one got stellar reviews here at the site and it got really good reviews on AOTS and at another site on the web. one thing that everyone agrees on is the quality of the B & W images that have come to incredible life in this direct from the negative 1080p transfer which is said to be almost completely untouched, no DNR Police raids here; that's great news! i can't wait to buy this. just wondering should i let this wait for black friday or jump on it as soon as it hits the stores!?!

Lord, I hope that when they do the Outer Limits Series that it gets the same treatment and similar reviews because these are two of the shows i grew up with as a kid and now with HD, i can't wait to be taken back to my childhood with such clarity!

Their current coupon is 10% off total order. (see dvdpricesearch) So, 64.98 less 10% (which makes it the cheapest listed there).

Even $70 is very steep for us foreigners, but i'm tempted by these enthusiastic reviews
I actually saw episodes at my local cinema in the very early 80s (Walker St Cinema, North Sydney). Also episodes of The Outer Limits were screened.

I doubt wether this will get released in Oz & it sucks that it is Region A locked.
Luckily I have an Aussie made Kogan player that will play both A & B.

Hmm... I don't know. I have the 'complete' Outer Limits on DVD, and while I do like it, I can't say it's a series I revisit too often.
Unlike the Twilight Zone!

Maybe if the price is right, I'll consider it.
