But I've watched the original on laserdisc 3 times since watching the DC blu.

Recently bought THX1138. When I try to play it in my Panasonic BD60 the FBI-warning comes, then the Warner logo, then the loading-icon. Then the disk just stops. My player says STOP. Ive tried a hundred times. This is the first time this has happend to my player.

Yes, I have the latest firmware. Anyone have any similar problem?

I have the same player and mine plays perfectly. In fact I never needed to do the firmware update or USB stick trick that many had to for this disc. The only disc that never worked for me until I did a firmware update was Dune.

Try turning off BD-Live. Most times this useless feature messes up playback. Also make sure the disc is clean.

I had to use an SD card to get this one to play.

I just noticed that the price has just dropped to $13.99 and I would love to finally buy this one.

However I own a Panasonic DMP-BD80 and I am not sure if it will play on it without having to purchase a SD card or whatever.

So so does anybody know if there is a list of players that will have this problem with this particular BD, or know if my player is one of them?

BD-live is always off

Take a blank USB drive and plug it in the machine. The disc will then play fine.

It is such complete horseshit that studios keep putting this crap on the discs. Discs taking 5 minutes to load for no other reason than the fancy interactive menu and more often than not just cause problems with playback

Total crap and I wish more people would complain to the studios about it.

Mine would not play with a 4GB USB, so I tried a 4GB memory card from my digital camera and that did the trick and it worked.

So if you have one of those try that instead.

Crazy, out of the 160 plus BDs that I have, ONLY THIS one has this problem.
