THX 1138 was on HDnet (I think that was the channel) Movies and it looks very cool in 1080i

Holy thread resurrection.
Wish we had the 1977 cut on BD or beyond though.
Don't want either the compromised 1971 Theatrical cut or the 2004 version.

Since the bump of all time has already happened, I’ll just say my piece and go. If the OG cuts are included on either Blu-ray or 4K, I’ll bite. The original cut of THX is a masterpiece. I got to the robotic arm scene on the DVD and turned it off, then changed my mind on the Blu when I found out it was the same thing.

While we’re at it, are there any good boots of the original cut floating around? I’ve been watching it on Archive for years but there has to be a better version than that file and the laserdisc.
